Montessori schools (and Montessori teachers) are generally ‘governed’ by six principles of Montessori Best Practice:

• mixed-age classrooms
• an uninterrupted learning period
• an absence of rewards and punishments
• a prepared environment
• a prepared adult
• knowledge of, and adherence to, a Montessori curriculum

Join us in this first session where we explore the principle of mixed-age classrooms and discuss what this means for both school management and for the teachers in the classroom.
